The BioSnacky range of organic seeds for sprouting

Introduction

Our range of sprouting seeds, for use with the BioSnacky system of sprouters, are grown organically and not irradiated. Depending on the variety, the seeds will sprout within days and you will have ready-to-eat sprouts within one week.

For best results, sow seeds thinly and follow the instructions on watering. Germination and growth times may vary with temperature. In addition, read our tips on germinating seeds and growing sprouts to get the most out of your BioSnacky sprouting seeds.

Alfalfa sprouting seeds

Alfalfa sprouts complement light meals such as salads at any time of the year. The slightly bitter, mildly nutty taste adds a distinctive flavour to salads, soups, dips and many other dishes.

Broccoli sprouting seeds

Broccoli sprouts have a fresh taste and make an interesting addition to salads and other dishes.The sprouts contain sulforaphane glucosinate known to have an antioxidant action.

Fitness Mix sprouting seeds

Fitness Mix seeds produce sprouts which complement light meals at any time of the year. The subtle, mildly piquant taste gives a distinctive flavour to salads, light and full-bodied meals as well as many other dishes.

Gourmet Mix sprouting seeds

Gourmet Mix seeds produce sprouts with a classic, delicate taste imparting a distinctive flavour to salads and many other dishes. It contains a mixture of seeds, including quinoa, radish and lentils.

Mild Aromatic Mix sprouting seeds

Mild Aromatic Mix of seeds produces sprouts with a light, delicate, but distinctive taste to complement salads, soups, dips and many other dishes.

Mung bean sprouting seeds

Mung bean sprouts have a mild, slightly nutty taste. They give a distinctive flavour to vegetable dishes, salads and many other dishes.

Little Radish sprouting seeds

Little Radish sprouts have a strong, spicy taste giving a distinctive flavour to salads, soups, dips and many other dishes. These sprouts are an excellent source of vital nutrients, containing potassium, calcium, sulphur as well as vitamins A and B.

Red Clover sprouting seeds

Red Clover contains phytoestrogens called isoflavones, thought to be helpful for women during the menopause. Red Clover sprouts look like alfalfa sprouts and have a mild, sweet flavour. They are easy to grow and an excellent source of vital nutrients.

Wellness Mix sprouting seeds

Wellness Mix contains a variety of seeds. Once sprouted, they provide a delicate, distinctive flavour to vegetable dishes, soups, salads and many other dishes.
