Since these veggie burgers are packed full of healthy vegetables, they’re also a great source of vitamins and minerals. Beetroot in particular is great for blood pressure and has been shown to improve sporting performance levels. It’s also a great source of potassium and iron. Quinoa is another great addition – this healthy, complex carbohydrate releases energy slowly to avoid big drops in blood sugar.
