I'm 41 years old and after reading over your website, I think I might be at the beginning stages of the menopause. Over the last 4-5 months, my periods have became very heavy, with blood clots appearing within the first two days. Due to the digestive troubles I have to take laxatives quite regularly. I feel very uncomfortable and I'm bloating after I've been on my regular runs, four times a week. I have a dull ache in my pubic area. What tests can confirm whether it is the menopause that is happening? Or, could it be something else?
