I'm due to have Novasure ablation next week for my heavy periods, but I have read the medical reports on it and they have put me off. My periods are regular but I have noticed them getting heavier. I am taking ferrous fumerate, which I got from my GP, twice a day. I wondered if I would be better off trying to deal with this naturally until the menopause. Or, will the bleeding become too severe, leading to worse problems? Is it likely that my periods will get worse leading up to the menoapuse?
