background

I had a hysterectomy 30 years ago. I am now 69 years old and I still get hot flushes. I have not had a good night of sleep since they started 12 years ago. I had been on HRT but I had to come off due to having a mini stroke. I have recently had a blood test and my hormone levels are all OK. The GP has prescribed Clonidine and after reading about the side effects, I am reluctant to take it. I also have bad circulation and the information leaflet said to be careful if you have that condition. I am at a loss as what to do.
