I was diagnosed as Peri-menopausal at age 40. I'm 43 now and I haven't had a period for 15 months. Yesterday, after suffering PMT like symptoms for what seemed like ages, I started a period. I am somewhat surprised as I thought after 12 months without them, I wouldn't have any more. Am I still in the Peri phase or can you have periods when you have started the menopause? I'm a bit confused!
