Read some of our customer ratingsYes, falling oestrogen can have an effect on the digestive system.
Usually it tends to slow it down, causing symptoms such as indigestion, constipation, and bloating.
I would suggest trying Digestisan as this is traditionally used for such symptoms.
Make sure that you eat really slowly - eating too quick or on the run can be a contributory factor and drink plenty of plain water every day too, but not with your food!
Many women find that they start to have problems digesting carbohydrates. Have a look at what you are eating every day and, if your diet is high in carbohydrates, you could try cutting them right down for a few weeks to see if that helps. Remember to still have plenty of vegtables, good protein, and a little fruit.
Stress is another factor - the menopause itself stresses the whole body and if you have day to day stress as well this just compounds everything, so do try to have a little rest and relaxation every day as this is great for all menopause issues!
